Walkspace Erratics

Public walks run by Walkspace members

Walkspace Erratics are irregular walks in the West Midlands, free to attend and open to everyone. Named for the boulders left here by retreating glaciers in the last ice age, it is inspired by Manchester's legendary Loiterers Resistance Movement.

Devised and led by Walkspace members, an Erratic can be a guided tour, a prompted drift or something else entirely. Our intention is that members use them to try out new ideas and works that need public participation, so you could find yourself at the cutting edge of the walking arts!

Whatever happens, you'll have a pleasant few hours walking with new people and seeing the region in new ways.
